At Camp Acorn, we believe every child deserves a place where they feel safe, supported, and able to grow.
Delivered by the Kristen French Child Advocacy Centre Niagara, Camp Acorn is more than a day camp. It is a child-focused, inclusive environment designed to help children build confidence, connection, and resilience through meaningful experiences.

Our Approach
We recognize that every child is unique, with their own strengths, interests, and needs. Our programs are designed to meet children where they are, while encouraging growth through play, creativity, and connection.
We focus on:
- Creating a safe and supportive environment
- Building positive relationships
- Encouraging self-expression and confidence
- Supporting social and emotional development
What Makes Camp Acorn Different
At Camp Acorn, relationships come first.
Our trained staff take the time to connect with each child, helping them feel seen, heard, and valued. Through structured activities and supportive guidance, children are encouraged to explore, try new things, and build trust in themselves and others.
A Place to Grow
Every day at Camp Acorn is designed to support the whole child.
From outdoor play and creative arts to mindfulness and group activities, campers are given opportunities to explore, connect, and grow in a way that feels right for them.
Because when children feel supported, they are able to thrive.
